Nursing kittens should be encouraged to eat solid food at 5 - 6 weeks by
moistening dry food with water. The mother should be fed free choice in a
large, shallow, solid bowl. This encourages kittens to eat at the same
time. Feed twice per day, placing enough food in the bowl to last half a

maturity (around 9 - 12 months depending on the breed), its nutritional
needs change. This is an ideal time to switch its diet to Genesis Adult Cat
